OCTOBERFEST began in 1810 during the grand royal wedding of King Ludwig I and Princess Therese of Saxony- Hildburghausen. The citizens of Munich were invited to attend the festivities held on the fields in front of the city gates to celebrate this happy royal event. Since then it has evolved into a celebration of beer, sausages and fun.

DRAGONS are deeply rooted in the Chinese culture. The Chinese often consider themselves as "the decendents of the dragon". In the minds of the early Chinese people, the dragon was a god that embodied the will and ideals of the Chinese individual. Everybody showed great respect for any dragon and this animal became the symbol of the Chinese nation.
